Business division “Over the Counter” – OTC
The business division OTC is responsible for the development and marketing of brands available exclusively in pharmacies, for example, medicines, dietary foods, food supplements or derma-pharmaceutical products.
Business division HERMES PHARMA:
HERMES PHARMA develops and produces effervescent tablets, effervescent granules and other solid soluble dosage forms such as chewable tablets, direct granules or medicinal chewing gum for the business division OTC or for other pharmaceutical companies.
Locations:
Our locations include Grosshesselohe/Munich (headquarters), our branch in Vienna and the production plants in Wolfratshausen and Wolfsberg/Austria.
Production:
Production encompasses around 450 different products in more than 750 different packaging designs (stock keeping units SKU) in the dosage forms:
- Effervescent tablets
- Effervescent granules and powder mixtures in sachets
- Chewable tablets
- Orally Disintegrating Granules (ODG) in stick packs
Annually, we manufacture more than 25 million packs in our production facilities.
Employees:
More than 600 employees work at HERMES’ four locations, around 450 of which at our two plants in Wolfratshausen and Wolfsberg.
