The production facility Wolfratshausen
More than 800 million effervescent tablets are manufactured annually in our modern production plant in Wolfratshausen and the majority of HERMES’ well-known products are packaged here.
The production technology applied is ideal for moisture-sensitive effervescent tablets. It stringently fulfils GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements and quality assurance guidelines for the production of all its pharmaceutical products. Weighing, granulating, mixing, pelletizing and packaging largely take place in closed systems. The entire material flow has been optimized to facilitate shorter ways and considerable time-savings.
From order placement through to production batch planning and delivery, the departments manufacturing and job scheduling diligently take care of the product orders of our contract partners and for Hermes’ own brands. In addition, the departments purchasing, technology and logistics ensure that individual customer specifications and requests are taken into consideration before, during and after manufacturing. Quality Control ensures that all GMP requirements and regulatory and customer specifications are complied with.
