Quality Control

Quality Control is a division of HERMES PHARMA divided into:

• Management and documentation
• Sampling and packaging inspection
• Raw material inspection
• Instrumental analysis
• Finished product inspection
• Validation and
• Microbiology

Quality Control tests all medicinal products, foodstuffs and cosmetics according to national and international laws and regulations with respect to identity, purity and content. The Quality Control Manager is responsible for the quality of the pharmaceutical substances.

An issue of particular importance is the assessment of manufacturing processes by validating the

• manufacturing steps and
• cleaning procedures

as well as the continuous:

• review of working procedures and working methods

by the department itself, by our customers and by the government of Upper Bavaria.

To carry out these tasks, which all serve to assure pharmaceutical quality, highly responsible and qualified staff with a high level of education have state-of-the-art, networked equipment such as HPLCs, GCs, spectrophotometers, autotitrators and many other high-tech measuring devices at their disposal.
